- i provide desktop support for roughly 100 personnel and computers. including machining devices, engineering devices, and other miscellaneous devices.
- when i started the position, i had to clean up roughly a thousand guest accounts on office 365; disabled over 234 computers and removed them from the network; i disabled over 94 users and removed them from the network.
- i have written multiple different scripts to perform various tasks to improve desktop roles including a basic powershell application to use for certain tasks. (bat, ps1, and reg).
- i have created mulitple group policies that are being pushed to the users including application installs, user settings, and computer settings. this helped dickman supply it to have a security statndard in play.
- i have set up multiple ubiquiti camera systems, access points, key's, udm, and most ubiquiti appliances at all of our sites. i have also set them up at multiple homes.
- i have run cat6 ethernet cable at multiple sites for cameras, wall plates, in the rafters with beam clamps, and through conduits in the wall.
- i have created multiple technical documents to help improve help desk sla times. this will help dickman supply it future operations.
- i have created a visual basic desktop application to provide quick fixes for the end user and to pull analytical data for my website.
- i created a website to visit for basic information of each site to include, printer information, inventory status, and basic computer information of all computers on the network.
- i have created a powershell application to help with computer data that upload to a mysql database that has multiple computer analytical data for multiple users.
- i built multiple computers for our network. i managed the devices that would need updated to windows 11 through the analytical data pulled from my applicataions and posted on website.
- i decommissioned mulitple neworking devices and would contact local electrical waste desposal department to take the unused equipment.
- i kept track of windows licesnses based on the computer that they were added to as well as avigilon camera license transferes to new servers.
- i configure old cisco switches, hp, netgear, and others to be able to remote into the devices to look at them remotely from my desk.
- i congigured snmp and smb to be able to scan to email as well as scaning to network locations.
- i configured multiple file sharing directories to be able to share files easily amoung departments.
- i cleaned up dns and dhcp services on the routers and on the domain server to help fix the overall status of the network. this helped in troubleshooting network related issues.

- maintained and monitored service now for incoming incident tickets. create tickets for walk-ups and assign tickets to the correct group for faster sla times.

- documented complex issues to be more efficient for future incidents and create scripts that may help sla times.
- created bat, ps1, and reg scripts for the level 2 desktop support team to use to help with sla times.
- created technical documentation for the desktop support team to be able to have quicker resolution times on incident tickets.
- provided support for machine engineering computers to include connecting comm ports, software install, hardware replacement, and network connectivity related issues.
- imaged new leased computers and worked with users to get their profiles transferred over to the device.
- i would use usmt to backup the users profile and put it back on the new device; drivers/bios updates; company standard application installs; division block level/user specific applicaion installs.
- i decommissioned devices and returned leased computers back to the vendor; remove asset from ad and sccm; wipe the hard drives; document the asset info for record; communicated with shipping department through oracle shipping requests and emails to schedule a time and date to send the devices back to dell.
- provided iphone support for the company phones including phone setup, delivered the device to the end user; phone applicaion issues.

- provided support for over 800 personnel spanning to many different companies that netgain provided it support for. each company had their own domain and set of operating procedures/standards.
- communicated and took calls from the clients through email, phone, and chat messaging.
- i work with vendors on resolving issues with different hardware/software that the clients have. also work with vendor support on claiming warranties on devices.
- worked with web filtering devices and interfaces (baracuda, cisco umbrella, iboss, etc.)
- i would work on remote alerts that are generated by our monitoring software (ncentral/solarwinds).
- i would telnet into networking devices to make sure ports were configured properly; login to the wlc interface to check on ap issues; reboot servers if needed; monitored server issues and investigated the issues through different log files to correct the issues;
- my domain control experience included but not limit to creating, adding, and removing user accounts; reset/unlock passwords; modified login bat scripts; reserved ip addresses in dhcp; created security groups and created shares folders for the security groups.
- i had access to exchange servers that we converted over to office 365 admin tools. i would create emails accounts; shared, distribution, and other groups; i would archive users email accounts; update exchange server certificates; help users setup calendar meetings; setup email on iphone and android devices; importing and exporting pst files to add to the use's new profile; repair pst files if corrupted.
- i worked on xerox, konica minolta, dell, and hp printers; installed drivers on computers; made admin configuration changes on the printer interfaces including smb; any network connectivity issue.
- software troubleshooting and working with vendor support if necessary.
- network related troubleshooting to include dns, dhcp, wifi, lan, network driver issues, switchport configuration issues.
- i'm familiar with proofpoint email filtering software; i'd check email filtering logs and reports of quarantined emails or blocked emails.
- i would troubleshoot vpn connectivity issues.
- new pc setup; installed miscellaneous software including adobe products, chrome, green shot, office 365, sage, courtview, and others; made registry changes to make the software work correctly; set up file, license, and terminal server paths when setting up the application to run from the server.
- i've added computers to the domain manually; updatesd the device os, applications, drivers, etc.; set up printers and drivers (some had printers setup through gpo and some were manual).
- i would trace cubical ports to the patch panel and connect them if their was a new user to setup; i would also console into the switch and make the correct switchport configuration.
- cleaned printers and added ink/toner to the printers; when setting up a new printer i would also reserve a static ip address for the printer on the domain dhcp.

- provided level one it customer support within a call center environment to multiple different types of employees within the nationwide community to include agents, independent agents, nationwide employees, contractors through nationwide, and offshore associates.
- my day would consist of troubleshooting it related issues involving network, software, hardware, mainframe, various applicaion support, printer issues, ip phone issues, cellular phone issues, and internal website support.
- networking issues would be connecting the end user to vpn accounts; getting computers, phones, printers connected to wifi, and hotspot devices.
- mouse and keyboard connection troubleshooting; docking station related issues; monitor and display connectivity issues; cloud phone setup for the home users.
- provide troubleshooting for office 365 products; such as applicaion break/fix, missing add-ins or plug-ins, archiving emails, etc.
- provided application support for multiple applications including rightfax, awd 10, document vault, docusign, filenet, efile, idrive, passport, clarity, mytime, mobius, as400, provenet, nationwide financial, and ms office 365.
- i would troubleshoot printer issues over the phone to include mapping network drives, installing printer drivers, and basic network troubleshooting.
- i would provid phone support to wired and wireless devices; voicemail password resets; line moves, changes, adds, and removes; the systems i was familiar with were avaya and cisco phones; Setup blackberry applicaions on corporate and non-corporate devices; setup verizon jetpacks and mifi devices as well as provide break/fix trouble shooting.
- nationwide it service desk uses tableau to show employees daily statistics for adhering to the metrix they set up; my last known stats were... adherence 95%, conformance 100%, average handle time on a call 600 seconds, quality score 99.7%, average calls per day was 22.

- i would use solar winds applicaion or ssh to the linux dns server to determin switchports to be reclaimed and write up the switch scripts in notepad++ to turn off the port to make them inactive as part of switchport security.
- i would setup cisco ip phones and cisco conference phones for new employees; telnetting into the switch and making switchport configuration changes(voice vlan, data vlan, qos, etc.) on a managed switch and patching the wires from the phone to the closet switch.
- i would handle desktop support escalated tickets for networking related issues; proper switchport vlan, secure ports, etc.
- i setup voicemail accounts in cisco unity; reset locked accounts; reset voicemail passwords
- i would remove dns host names from the linux server through vi text editor.

- i assisted contractors in implementing meraki aps and insured that all areas of our backup recovery site would be covered by wifi; configured the meraki switches and aps.
- i have changed the batteries in ups devices and also deployed them in closets for the networking equipment.
- i prepared shipping slips and packaging of systems that were getting shipped to the different remote sites.
- i would imaged computers and configured them according to the oclc standards for new hires or to replace a user's computer; this was done with sccm; downloaded user specific software through sccm.
- i would performed driver updates, bios updates, and applied mcafee encryption software to laptop computers.
- i would troubleshoot network printer connectivity issues.
- i would setup new hire workstations including docking stations, monitors, speakers, cubical printers, and phones.
- i was in charge of writing cisco switch scripts for the closet devices during department restructuring.
- i would move servers from one rack to another in the data center.
